HYOMON (氷紋) — "ice patterns"
A frozen lake at night. A small skater waits on the ice.
Guide it, carve a circle, and the stars inside return to the sky.
There is only one thing to do: glide, and draw circles.
No timer, no score, no way to fail. Go as slowly as you like.
- The rounder your loop, the clearer it rings. Close a truly round one and it settles into a perfect circle.
- Stars you circle rise one by one, each with its own note.
- When every star is home, the lines you carved light up and the ice resurfaces for a new sheet, with a new layout, colour and key.
How to play
Mouse: just move the cursor. The skater follows.
Touch: stroke anywhere on the screen. Let go, and it keeps gliding.
Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD.
The "…" menu at the top right has sound, ambience, vibration (Android), control style, reduce motion, and "save a photo of the ice".
Best with headphones. Plays on phones, tablets and computers.
How it was made
Everything you see and hear is generated by code as you play: one HTML file of about 120 KB, with no image or audio files. The feel was designed from research on game feel and touch latency. The skater's inertia smooths out your hand, so your circles come out rounder on the ice than you drew them.
The game itself has no ads, no tracking and makes no network requests. Only your settings and sheet number are saved, in your browser.

夜の凍った湖。小さな滑り手が、氷の上で待っています。
導いて円を刻むと、その中の星が空へ還ります。
やることは一つだけ。滑って、円を描く。
時間制限も、点数も、失敗もありません。好きなだけゆっくりどうぞ。
- 丸く閉じるほど、澄んだ音で鳴ります。十分に丸ければ、真円に収まります。
- 囲んだ星は、一つずつ音を鳴らしながら昇っていきます。
- 星をすべて還すと、刻んだ線が光り、氷が張り替わって次の面へ。配置も色も調も変わります。
遊び方
マウス：カーソルを動かすだけ。滑り手が追ってきます。
タッチ：画面のどこでもなぞる。指を離すと、惰性で滑り続けます。
キーボード：矢印キーか WASD。
右上の「…」から、音・背景の音・振動（Android）・操作の方式・動きを減らす・氷の写真を保存 を選べます。
ヘッドホン推奨。スマートフォン・タブレット・PCで遊べます。
作り方
絵も音も、遊んでいるその場でコードが生成しています。画像や音声のファイルはなく、約120KBのHTMLファイル1つでできています。手触りは、ゲームの操作感やタッチの遅延についての研究をもとに設計しました。滑り手の慣性が手の震えをならすので、氷に残る円は、描いたより少し丸くなります。
ゲーム本体には広告もトラッキングもなく、外部への通信もしません。保存されるのは設定と面の番号だけで、ブラウザの中に残ります。
